Leamington Spa

When I had my first son in 2006 I was amazed at how much equipment for a small child cost. I soon discovered that many of the items that I had spent a lot of money on got used so infrequently that by the time I had finished with them they were still in excellent condition.

By the time my daughter was born in 2007 I had realised that to buy good quality second hand items made much more sense and wished that there was a local ‘one stop’ place that I could both buy and sell this equipment. Of course the local charity shops and car boot sales were a good starting point, but it was time consuming finding the things that I wanted, and by the time I had paid postage on online auctions my saving was very little.

After talking to other local parents I soon discovered that many had similar feelings; that to have an outlet to view, buy and sell quality nearly new equipment for children locally would solve this problem. Coupled with the need to know what was available socially for young children and their parents / carers Nearly New Near You was born.

Now the mother of 3 small children I run this business from home. I buy and sell good quality equipment for children (including maternity).

It is my hope that once this business model is sucessfully running in Leamington Spa and Warwick that I will offer branches out for Franchise. It is my aim that Nearly New Near You becomes a household name in the trading of good quality nearly new childrens equipment nationally.
